Postcard from Macau

More than a year ago, on 26 November 2007, I received this nice postcard from Macau, showing the UNESCO protected Ruins of St. Paul's, the remnants of a Portuguese cathedral built in Macau in the 17th century.

The first stamp with the nominal value of 3.50 patacas is taken from the series Legends and Myths VI (Lendas e Mitos VI) - Liang Shambo and Zhu Yingtai. It was issued on 15 February 2003 in 400,000 pieces. The second stamp has similar literary connotations. It is part of Seng Yu - Proverbs II (Proverbios II), has the nominal value of 1.50 patacas and was issued on 1 June 2007 with a print-run of 140,000.

The card was sent on 20/11/2007 by Jasmin:-)
